With all of the sudden changes we are learning to adapt to, now more than ever is the time to develop new skills that help us to improve our lives. Mindfulness and meditation are two very different skillsets that can help to lower stress, which improves our decision-making capabilities, help us to harness more joy and happiness, and guide us to become strong performers in all aspects of our lives.
I’d like to share with you one of my favorite meditation coaches, Emily Fletcher, currently the leader in meditation for extraordinary performance and noted as one of the Top 100 Women in Wellness to Watch.
Her technique is designed for busy people and is designed to make mindfulness and meditation easy and accessible for everyday people to utilize. I have found her approach to be uncomplicated to learn, easy to understand, and simple to execute.
I hope you
enjoy this video below, hosted on Impact Theory, where she discusses the
differences between mindfulness (“The Appetizer,” which helps to deal with
stress in the present moment), Meditation (“The Main Course,” which gets rid of
stress from the past), and Manifestation (“The Dessert,” which helps us to get
clear about our desires and helps us to align our future).
