Do you have an interest in helping our doctors deliver high quality patient care? We regularly hire full-time receptionists with an interest in becoming naturopathic medical assistants. This is a great opportunity to get an introduction to the skills you will need for nursing school or other career in the medical field. Naturopathic medical assistants are not required to go to a formal medical assisting school but are trained by Revolutions doctors and are certified to practice under a naturopathic medical license.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Organization and ability to multi-task
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Compassionate and service-oriented
• Professional and amicable
• Excitement about natural medicine!
• High school diploma or GED required, EMT or MA certification preferred
• Basic medical skills (vitals, IM shots, phlebotomy, etc) preferred

Duties:

• Scheduling
• Check-in / Check-out patients
• Multi-line phone management
• Documentation and filing
• Vitals, IM shots, phlebotomy (further training will be provided as needed)

The ideal candidate would have a passion for a particular patient population (please discuss your ideal patient population in your cover letter). Continuing education is provided and you will be trained to be an expert in your chosen area.  Our office is set up for you to build a practice quickly by providing patient coordination, marketing support, inventory management, lab processing and IT support to allow you to focus on your patients. You will be expected to help grow your patient base by attending marketing events and getting involved in our community.
